Scout posts
MeasuredWhat scouts posted, and what it actually did. Not likes. Likes belong to the platform and tell you how many people saw something, which is not the same as how many people went.
A post that sends twelve people who plan a night out beats a post that sends four hundred who scroll past.

Registering a post
Two steps, and the order matters. Register first and you get a link with a tag in it, because the tag has to be inside the link before the link goes in the post. Then once it is up, paste the post back in. Nothing reaches the board until you do, so a post you never published shows nothing rather than showing zeros that read like a flop.

Why it is counted this way
Ranking by likes would rank by follower count, and the whole point of scouts is that followers are not the qualification. Someone who knows one block properly and tells two hundred people about it should be able to beat someone with fifty thousand followers who posted a photo of the harbor.
So we count what we can actually see: people who arrived from the post, places they opened, and plans they made. Those numbers belong to us rather than to a platform, which also means no scout has to connect an account or hand over anything to appear here.
