The Walters Art Museum

Admission is free every day it is open, and Thursday hours run to 8pm, which makes it the rare museum here you can do after work before dinner on Charles Street. Three connected historic buildings a block from the monument, with a current show, Divine Inspiration, up through Feb 7, 2027, and regular evening programming.

• The Walters Gala & PartySat, Oct 24 · Party 9pm to midnight; VIP Party from 8pm; Gala from 6pmThe Walters' yearly fundraiser, and the part most people go to is the Party: from 9 the museum turns into lounges, open galleries and a dance floor, with late-night bites and pop-ups from Baltimore favorites, until midnight. Party tickets are $200; the VIP Party, $350, gets in at 8. The Gala itself is $600, with cocktails at 6, dinner in the galleries at 7 and the Party after.
