A jazz room with a kitchen on Lancaster Street, carrying the name of the San Francisco club, and it runs like a listening room rather than a bar with a band in the corner: doors a couple of hours before, two sets most nights, and the room turns for the second. The one to know about is the Bright Moments Jam Session, led by Obasi Akoto with players from the Baltimore and Washington scenes, on select Tuesdays at seven and free to walk into. Friday and Saturday there is a late night from eleven until two, after the ticketed sets are done. Sets also stream, and a streaming pass covers both and stays open for 72 hours.
