A 155,000 square foot Sears warehouse that sat empty and now holds a dozen independent businesses, anchored by Union Craft Brewing's taproom and beer garden. Under the same roof: The Charmery for ice cream, Vent Coffee Roasters, Baltimore Spirits Company, Carroll and Son Fine Foods, a climbing gym, a watch company and several workshops. Each one keeps its own hours, which the building says plainly rather than pretending otherwise, so the brewery's are the ones to plan around.
