The Baltimore Inner Harbor at sunsetDeparts Fells Point
The harbor, until we photograph this one ourselves

The free one, and the one almost nobody visiting knows about. Baltimore City runs three commuter routes across the harbor on weekdays: Locust Point to Fell's Point every 15 minutes from 6am, Federal Hill to Pier 5 every 15 minutes from 7am, and a slower loop tying Locust Point, Fell's Point and Canton together every 45 minutes. It costs nothing, it crosses water the buses have to drive around, and on a weekday it is simply the fastest way between two waterfront neighborhoods.

Hours
Weekdays only. Route 1 from 6am to 8pm; Route 3 from 7am to 8pm; Route 2 from 7:15am to 11:25am and 3:50pm to 8pm
Season
Year round, on weekdays. It does not run on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
Parking
Not published. Each landing sits in a different neighborhood with its own parking, and the point of the service is arriving without a car.
Age rules
Not published
Accessibility
Covered by the operator's fleet-wide answer rather than one of its own: 'Accessibility varies by vessel, dock, tide, weather, and boarding location', with a request to make contact before traveling. ADA service animals are allowed on the Connector, other dogs are not
Verified
Verified Sep 28, 2026 against Baltimore City DOT's own Harbor Connector page for the three routes, their piers, the weekday hours, the 15 and 45 minute frequencies, the March 2, 2026 changes and the four days it does not run, read Sep 28, 2026; Harbor Boating, which runs the boats under contract with the city, for the fleet-wide accessibility answer and the service animal rule, from https://www.baltimorewatertaxi.com/faq, read Sep 28, 2026. Facts can drift; if something here is wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it. How we check.
Not yet confirmed
The city publishes no accessibility statement for the Connector itself, so the access line is Harbor Boating's answer for the whole fleet it runs. Harbor Boating's own Connector pages return 404, so the timetable is the city's.

Harbor Connector has no photograph of its own yet. If you are there, one from your phone beats anything we could find.
