CylburnTwo hundred acres of city park in their own words, and the least Baltimore-looking place in this guide: specimen trees, formal gardens, wooded trails and an 1863 stone mansion built for the businessman Jesse Tyson by the architect who did City Hall. There are no fees to go in and no food on the property either, so it is a morning or an afternoon you bring with you. The mansion is shut except on the second Saturday and Sunday of the month, which is worth knowing before you make it the reason for the trip. Dogs are welcome on the grounds on a leash.
