The big one, under the expressway: every Sunday from April to December, seven until noon, in the car park beneath the JFX at Holliday and Saratoga, rain or shine. It calls itself Maryland's largest farmers' market and it is producer-only, so whoever is behind the stall grew it or made it: produce, meat, dairy and seafood, with makers selling clothes, homewares and art alongside. Running since 1977, and run by BOPA, the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts. The first two hours, seven to nine, are kept as quiet shopping. SNAP and eWIC are taken, and the info tent matches up to $20 a day in Maryland Market Money. No dogs: it is a Health Department rule, and the ticket runs to $1,000.
