A 10K over the eastbound span of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, the one day a year it can be crossed on foot. Waves of about 2,000 start every 15 minutes, with a pace limit of 19 minutes a mile. Registration is $115 until noon on Saturday. There is no race-day packet pickup: bibs are at the expo on Saturday, 10 to 4, at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds in Crownsville. Shuttles leave the designated parking lots 6 to 8am, and parking passes can't be bought on the day. The finish-line party runs 7am to 2pm at Chesapeake Bay Business Park, open to runners, friends and family, and spectators need no registration. No dogs. The Maryland Transportation Authority can call it off for weather as late as 5am on the day, with no refunds.
