The 30th Port to Fort: 3.76 miles out along Fort Avenue, a loop inside Fort McHenry and back, run or walk, for Believe In Tomorrow's housing for critically ill children and their families. $40 for adults and $22.70 for 4 to 12, plus fees, under 4s free. Afterwards a costume contest, trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, a DJ and breakfast. Strollers start near the back; no pets other than service animals, and no bikes. Fort Avenue closes to traffic before the start.
